As a legal tech company, One Sky Solutions actively participates in a wide range of events across the legal, technology, and aviation sectors. This cross-industry presence reflects our dual focus: driving digital innovation in legal services while staying closely connected to the aviation ecosystem.
Our participation in these events allows us to engage with industry leaders, share insights, and stay at the forefront of both regulatory and technological developments that are shaping the future of legal operations and air transport.
Below you’ll find highlights from the latest events we have attended, followed by a list of upcoming opportunities to meet and connect with the OSS community.

Highlights from the ERA General Assembly 2025
One Sky Solutions is member of European Regions Airline Association and has attended the ERA General Assembly, held in Estoril, Portugal from 21–23 October. The event brought together over 430 delegates, including representatives from 53 airlines and a total of 142 industry companies.
Among the discussions on ReFuelEU and the Sustainable Transport Investment Plan, special attention was given to the ongoing revision of EU Regulation 261/2004 on passenger rights.
The European Regions Airline Association is actively advocating for a balanced and realistic approach to the regulation, emphasizing:
A focus on safe, reliable travel rather than punitive measures.
Clear and fair rules for both passengers and airlines.
Updated delay thresholds and compensation rates reflecting the realities of aircraft operations.
A non-exhaustive list of extraordinary circumstances.
Limited EU261 obligations for PSO and essential routes.
Rerouting options that do not place an unreasonable burden on carriers.
ERA, IATA and A4E has recently submitted a joint position paper, outlining the main points of the proposed revision and its potential impact on both the aviation sector and passengers.

The conference concluded with a memorable Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony (see photo), celebrating excellence across the regional aviation industry.
SKY express was named ERA Airline of the Year 2025, also winning the Regional Connectivity Airline Award for its remarkable growth, strong performance, and commitment to sustainability and community engagement in Greece.
Amelia received the Sustainable Airline Award 2025 for its pioneering use of sustainable aviation fuel and contrail reduction initiatives.
Air Nostrum earned the Innovation Airline Award 2025 for its AI-driven maintenance technology and digital transformation efforts.
Nordic Regional Airlines (Norra) received the People and Culture Airline Award 2025, honoring its employee-first approach and the creation of the Norra Academy to foster talent in the Nordic region.
The event also featured an inspiring talk by Allen Parton, Royal Naval veteran and Founder of Hounds for Heroes, who shared his extraordinary story of recovery with his service dog, ET, and his mission to support injured veterans and emergency service personnel.
One Sky Solutions was delighted to attend this year’s event and looks forward to taking part in the General Assembly in Belfast in October 2026.

Highlights from the 37th Annual Conference of EALA
One Sky Solutions had the pleasure of attending the 37th European Air Law Association (EALA) Conference in Vienna — an inspiring event for every legal professional working in the aviation field.
One word resonated throughout the sessions: growth.
Growth in the number of passengers carried on commercial flights. Growth in business aviation and in the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Growth in the number of flights that air traffic controllers will need to manage in the coming years. And, inevitably, growth in the volume of EU261 claims.
Across many discussions, when addressing the challenges created by this growth, the solution often came down to a single concept: technology.
Technology is the key to managing complexity, improving efficiency, and ensuring sustainability across the aviation ecosystem.
At One Sky Solutions, we see this every day. Through our Platform for Automated Litigation Management and our network of specialized law firms across Europe, we have already embraced technology to handle the increasing number of claims efficiently and effectively.
It was a great opportunity to exchange insights with so many professionals and to witness how innovation continues to drive the future of aviation law.
